Residence-permit income thresholds

Income thresholds in the Residence Permits and Visas Regulation are defined as multipliers (a multiple of the minimum wage). The amounts below are calculated automatically from the current gross minimum wage.

Income-based residence permit

At least five times the minimum wage in monthly income (or that amount held in a bank account as one year's income)

TRY 303,090.00 per month

Property owner

At least three times the minimum wage in monthly income (in addition to the instalment, under an instalment-payment contract)

TRY 181,854.00 per month

Family-permit sponsor one-year-rule exemption

Monthly income at least three times the minimum wage

TRY 181,854.00 per month

Current gross minimum wage: TRY 60,618.007 Jul 2026

The regulation does not state whether gross or net minimum wage applies; confirm with the Immigration Office before applying.
